Catch TownSq at this year’s Royal Welsh Show!

Kelly Whitefoot and Emily Martin at The Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells

We’re thrilled to say we will be at this year’s Royal Welsh Show giving tailored business advice and guidance!

For over 100 years The Royal Welsh Show has been one of the UK’s biggest and most beloved agricultural events. With over 200,000 people attending, the show brings together local businesses, traders and farmers from across the region and celebrates agriculture, Welsh culture and community spirit.

With its rich history, the show brings huge benefits to the local community and boosts the local economy with visitors using accommodation across the Powys region, dining at local restaurants and visiting independent stores on the high street. The show also increases overall exposure for welsh culture through music, dance, song and activities that are run throughout the event. The increase in footfall from tourists across the UK, is crucial for the economy of the surrounding area. It brings sustained tourism to Builth Wells and invites them to explore local attractions and the wider Welsh landscape.

The show is set to have numerous local and national businesses, showcasing their products and services. With numerous trade stands and exhibitions, the Royal Welsh Show provides exposure that can lead to new business partnerships and increased sales. Farmers, in particular, benefit greatly from the Royal Welsh Show. It gives them the platform to be able to showcase their livestock, enhancing their reputation and sales.

We’re excited to be a part of this event. Having previously supported the region with a number of business support events, this will be a great opportunity for local people to connect with us and learn how they could receive our fully funded support. At the stand, businesses will be able to receive tailored business tips as well as understand how TownSq can continue to further support their business and watch the growth continue.
